Jawa 42 2.0

The new Jawa 42 motorcycle brings back the classic retro design of the 50s.

It also comes with the teardrop-shaped fuel tank with the ‘Jawa’ badging on either side, which adds character to the overall design. The side profile of the Jawa 42 comes with a swept-back design similar to the other Jawa model, with the wide seats and long silencers. The rear of the Jawa 42 comes with a small tail lamp set-up, just above the number plate. The name of the motorcycle is also hand-painted just above the tail lamps, which adds to the retro character while the twin-exhaust pipes add to the drama.

The new Jawa 42 comes powered by a 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 27bhp and 28Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The new Jawa 42 comes with a minimalistic design and styling. The Jawa 42 gets a single-pod instrument cluster, with the speedometer and fuel gauge arranged in the vintage style.

There is also a small digital screen to display the time. In terms of safety features, the Jawa 42 comes with 280mm disc at the front and 153mm disc at the rear. The front disc is supported by a single-channel ABS which comes as standard.
